Core Gameplay // 01

One Line and the Loop

One-Line Description

Aniimo is a free-to-play online open-world creature-catching ARPG where Twine — fusing with your Aniimo to fight, explore, and solve puzzles in their place — is the core verb.

No classes
Your identity is your talents and your team of up to four Aniimo.
Hybrid online
Co-op with friends, social hubs where you meet players, and Operation: Egg Heist as the PvPvE competitive mode.
Genuinely fair
The monetization is genuinely fair: a free-to-play account can earn everything that affects combat strength. Paid currency buys time and cosmetics, not power.

The Core Loop

Every system in the game hangs off one loop. Explore a region to find creatures and bosses → catch what you want → register and research them in the Aniilog (which pays Glimmer and accessory slots) → train them through leveling, Resonance Star-Up, and evolution → challenge the Alphas and Omegas those regions hide → collect the materials and eggs they drop → upgrade your team with the currency those drops fund → and use the stronger team to push into harder regions.

New Player Route // 02

Where to Start

Three Stages

  1. 1

    Your first hours

    Tutorial complete → I Student

Play the main story through its tutorial chain: create your character, catch your first Emberpup, beat the first boss (The Summoned Helgon), and pick your guardian between Lunara and Helion. Then push to Chasing the Clouds, where you defeat and catch Alpha Turbo and get promoted to I Student — that one promotion unlocks multiplayer and Elite Training, so it's the real "tutorial complete" moment.

  2. 2

    Toward Wayfarer

Dailies + promotions + Aniilog research

Alternate main story and promotion quests (the promotion exams' answers are all on the progression page), keep the five dailies running, and start researching your carry's species in the Aniilog — its research levels unlock accessory slots that matter later.

  3. 3

    Endgame

Omegas → Egg Heist → Sim & Raids

Weekly Omega challenges first (best value in the game), then Egg Heist once you hit Veteran Pathfinder (it's the only way to get Umbral forms), then the Holo-Battle Simulator and Interlink raids. Keep the Homeland producing in the background the whole time.

Priority in One Line

The whole priority, one chain

Raise your main DPS (Star-Up, evolution, held items) first when a better individual of the same species appears, use Inherit to move the whole investment over for 20,000 Credits instead of retraining spend Primegy on the weekly bosses spend Glimmer on Aniipod Ultras to secure those boss catches.
