Aniimo Currency Guide
The four money layers — Credits, Glimmer, Lumin Crystals, and the Primegy energy pool — with earning methods, spending priorities, and what's actually worth paying for. Aniimo runs on four currencies and one energy pool, and the game never explains how they're meant to slot together — so players end up converting premium crystals into farmable Glimmer, blowing their Credit reserves on resets they don't need, or buying the wrong battle-pass tier. The good news is the system is fair: everything that matters except one currency is earnable free.

The System // 01
The Four-Layer Currency System
The Money Map
Aniimo separates its money by how hard it is to earn, and that separation decides what each one is for:
Credits
The standard currency, farmable in volume. Pays for training costs, resets, and the shop's everyday items.
Glimmer
The semi-premium currency. Earnable for free but in limited amounts, so it's for the high-value shop items.
Lumin Crystals
The paid currency. Bought with real money (or the monthly pass); buys cosmetics, bundles, and the premium track.
Primegy
Not really money at all: it's the daily energy pool that gates boss and simulator claims.
Windborn Stamps
A daily-activity token spent at the Stamp Shop.
Companion EXP
The battle-pass's own experience, earned weekly and by the pass's missions.
Two more micro-currencies exist inside their own economies: Eggshell Coins inside Operation: Egg Heist, and Safaris as a boss first-clear bonus whose spending use isn't documented yet. Neither leaves its own loop.
What Free Players Can Actually Get
The short version, because it sets every decision below: a free account can earn every currency except Lumin Crystals, and can buy every game-relevant item with what it earns. Glimmer is farmable (slower, but real), Aniipod Ultras and Capafruits are purchasable with Glimmer, and nothing that affects combat strength is locked behind the paywall. Lumin Crystals buy time and cosmetics, not power. Keep that in mind when you weigh the paid section at the end.
Credits // 02
Credits: The Standard Currency
Four Ways to Earn Credits
Credits are the workhorse currency, and they come from four reliable sources:
01
Submit catch reports
Registering new species, hitting catch milestones, and logging variants in the Aniilog pays large bundles. The Research Expert talent boosts report payouts by 10–30%, so take it if reporting is your main income.
02
Defeat Alpha Aniimo
Overworld Alphas drop direct Credit payouts plus materials and chest keys, and they respawn, making a daily route repeatable income.
03
Clear Elite Training Elective Courses
Fixed one-time challenges paying 6,000 Credits each; the biggest single bursts in the game.
04
Open chests
Standard, hidden, and puzzle chests across every region; clearing a zone adds up to tens of thousands.
The Big Expenses
Credits drain on a few specific things, so don't treat every balance as spending money: talents reset for 2,000 Credits, and — the big one — Inherit costs 20,000 Credits to move a build to a better creature. Keep a reserve around 20k once you're mid-game, or you'll find a Perfect-Potential catch you can't afford to transfer into.
Primegy // 03
Primegy: Managing Your Energy
Recovery and Cap
1 / 6 min
natural regen (~240 per day)
300
hard cap
+60
per Battery
Primegy is the daily budget, and its numbers are fixed: it regenerates 1 point every 6 minutes (roughly 240 per day), capped at 300. Beyond natural regen you can buy it with Glimmer (50 per batch), use Batteries (+60 each, from events, level-up rewards, and the paid handbook), and pick some up from the shop.
The Daily Spending Plan
30
Primegy per Alpha/Omega reward claim
30
Primegy per Holo-Battle Simulator chest
50
Primegy per Weekly boss challenge
Every claim costs Primegy: 30 per Alpha/Omega reward claim, 30 per Holo-Battle Simulator chest, and 50 per weekly boss challenge (capped at three per week). With ~240 a day, the plan writes itself: three weekly Omega challenges first (150 total — the best value in the game), then the Alphas whose materials you actually need, then leftover points into the simulator. Never spend it on a source that doesn't pay the material you need this week.
Glimmer // 04
Glimmer: The Semi-Premium Currency
Five Ways to Earn Glimmer
Glimmer is farmable but scarce, so know every source:
01
Elite Training Core Courses
The best steady source; they're gated behind main-story and promotion progress.
02
Daily activities
Hit 400 points in the Institute Guide's daily menu for 30 Glimmer a day.
03
Boss first clears
50 Glimmer for a first Alpha clear, 100 for a first Omega.
04
Aniilog levels
Every time your Aniilog level rises (by catching and completing research goals, submitted at an Outpost), you get 100 Glimmer.
05
First top-up bonus
Buying Lumin Crystals gives a one-time Glimmer bonus.
The Best Glimmer Buys
Glimmer is limited, so it has a strict value order:
01 · 200 Glimmer
Aniipod Ultra
A guaranteed catch, and the only reliable way to secure Alpha and Omega captures after beating them. Highest value by far.
02 · 50 per batch
Primegy
Buy energy when the weekly Omega budget needs topping up.
03 · 1,000 Glimmer
Capafruit
Gives a creature +1 Innate Potential on one attribute; the endgame minmax tool once your team is set.
04
Everything else
Psyche Fruit (100), Redesign Card and Hair Saloon Card (300), Morph Ball (300), Name Change Card (300) — is convenience; buy those only when you need them.
If you're free-to-play, this order is basically the whole economy: Ultra pods to catch the bosses, Primegy to keep farming, Capafruits when your carry is final.
Lumin Crystals // 05
Lumin Crystals: The Paid Currency
How to Get Them
Three sources, in value order:
01
Monthly Pass
The best deal: an immediate crystal payout, daily login claims for 30 days, and passive perks (reduced hatch times, higher daily activity caps) that make it the best value in the entire game.
02
Direct top-ups
The in-game store's packs, each with a one-time double-crystal bonus for first-time buyers, making the first purchase of each tier meaningfully better than later ones.
03
Event and launch bundles
Limited-time packs that bundle crystals with rare progression items (Sparkling Cubes, Capability Fruits), usually beating buying those items separately.
Where Crystals Are Worth Spending
The value order, best to worst:
01
Monthly Pass and Companion Handbook
The highest return on investment: passive daily rewards, rare materials, and currency progression all in one.
02
Exclusive outfits and cosmetics
Limited-time skins (Frostwolf Spirit, Batlock Holmes, Fentuft Dream, and similar) that can't be earned in gameplay; the main reason to hold crystals if you care about looks.
03
Capture and growth bundles
Sparkling Cubes, Capability Fruits, and top Aniipods bundled together; they save substantial grinding time when hunting rare variants.
04
Direct conversion to Glimmer
Avoid. Glimmer is farmable in the open world, so converting premium crystals into it is the one objectively bad use.
Priorities // 06
What to Prioritize: The Resource Order
Concentrate on the Carry
Every currency flows into the same funnel: your main DPS, then your Break unit, then healers and utility. Credits go to resets and Inherit; Primegy goes to the weekly bosses and the Alphas that drop what you're building; Glimmer goes to Ultra pods first (so you can catch those Alphas), then Capafruits once the carry is locked in. Spreading resources across four creatures is how accounts stall.
The New Player Resource Route
01
Earn Credits
bank the 20k Inherit reserve
02
Glimmer → Aniipod Ultras
catch Alpha/Omega
03
Primegy → weekly challenges
and the Alphas matching your team's materials
04
Glimmer → Capafruits
the final stat push, once the team is set
For the first stretch, the sequence is: earn Credits to bank the 20k Inherit reserve → spend Glimmer on Aniipod Ultras to catch Alpha/Omega → spend Primegy on weekly challenges and the Alphas matching your team's materials → only after the team is set, move Glimmer into Capafruits for the final stat push. This route keeps every currency compounding instead of draining on the wrong thing.
Paid Value // 07
What's Worth Paying For
The Paid-Item Ratings
| Item | Price | Rating | Worth it for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly Pass | $4.99 | ★★★ | Anyone playing past week one — best value in the game |
| Weekly Value Pack | ~$1 | ★★★ | Light spenders who want a small regular bump |
| Companion Handbook (Advanced) | $9.99 | ★★☆ | Season-long players who want Prismana Fulmintis and Sparkling Cubes |
| Companion Handbook (Keepsakes) | $19.99 | ★★☆ | Same as Advanced plus exclusive cosmetics — only if you want the looks |
| Various packs | varies | ★★☆ | Players rushing level-ups or progression |
Three Spending Tracks
Free-to-play
Fully viable. You miss Lumin Crystals and the paid handbook's Prismana egg and cosmetics, nothing that affects combat strength. Farm Glimmer, spend it in the order above.
Light spender
Get the Monthly Pass. The 330 crystals, daily Glimmer, Companion EXP, and hatch/activity perks make it the single best purchase; everything else is optional.
Heavy spender
Monthly Pass + the Companion Handbook tier you want + first-purchase top-up bonuses. Spend crystals on bundles and cosmetics, and remember the one rule: don't convert crystals to Glimmer.
Mistakes // 08
Common Mistakes to Avoid
01
Converting Lumin Crystals into Glimmer.
Glimmer is farmable; crystals aren't. The conversion is the one objectively bad use.
02
Burning Glimmer on cosmetics early.
Ultra pods and Primegy come first; skins are endgame spending.
03
Not keeping a Credit reserve.
Inherit is 20,000 and resets are 2,000 — a dry balance means a missed upgrade.
04
Wasting Primegy on low-value targets.
~240 a day is a hard budget; the weekly Omegas come first.
05
Buying the Keepsakes handbook for the Prismana egg.
The egg comes with both tiers — Keepsakes only adds cosmetics.
06
Spreading resources across four creatures.
Concentrate on the carry, then the Break unit.
07
Ignoring daily activities.
They're the easiest 30 Glimmer and 3,000 EXP in the game, plus the guaranteed egg.

A 1,000-Glimmer item that gives an Aniimo +1 Innate Potential on one attribute — the endgame stat-minmax tool.
